A part of the Midday Noël concert series at First Presbyterian Church of San Antonio, this recital features soloistic settings of traditional Christmas carols, elevating these traditional melodies to art song. Bronwyn will sing carols including the Wexford Carol, Lo How a Rose, In the Bleak Midwinter, Still still still, and close with Oh Holy Night.
Bronwyn joins Opera San Antonio in concert to honor our nation’s veterans. The concert features music from La fille du régiment and The Pirates of Penzance along with jazz standards.
A recital that explores the work of Emily Dickinson with musical settings by Jake Heggie, Aaron Copland, among others. This event is in collaboration with the Art Song Center for Musicians and Poets, the Ecumenical Center, and the Soul’s Journey Poetry Circle. Join us for a recital celebrating Roman Landscapes: Visions of Nature and Myth from Rome and Pompeii. This evening’s musical selections explore how the character of the landscape influences cultures and how this is reflected in music.
Featuring songs in German, English, French, and Mandarin, SongScapes will highlight pieces from the standard classical repertoire as well as songs by composers from traditionally underrepresented populations. Acclaimed soprano Bronwyn White will introduce each selection.

Bronwyn will be singing on the Opera San Antonio Float in the Texas Cavaliers River Parade, an annual FIESTA event. The parade will air on local television, and will feature Bronwyn singing the Brindisi duet from La Traviata.
Rooted in Ruth is a collaborative performance, bringing together the Art Song Center, the Ecumenical Center, and Soul’s Journey Poetry Circle. The performance is given in honor of Ruth Friedberg, the late founder of the Art Song Center. The music and poetry chosen were favorites of Ruth.
Bronwyn will sing pieces by Florence Price, Jake Heggie, John Duke, and Aaron Copland.
